COVID–19 Confirmed Cases in New York Area – as of 5:00pm, March 23, 2020
On March 21 and 22 (EST), one Mizuho employee and one contracted vendor staff member, respectively, working on the premises of Mizuho's offices in the New York area were confirmed with COVID–19. The following actions were taken where necessary:
- –We identified the people working in Mizuho's offices who were in close contact with the individual.
- –We required staff who may have been in close contact with the abovementioned individual to self-quarantine.
- –We conducted a deep clean of the office area where the abovementioned individual worked.
We do not believe that either of the two abovementioned individuals had any contact with external clients in the days leading up to the confirmation of them having COVID–19.
The safety of our clients and employees is of utmost importance to us. We ask all related parties for their kind understanding and cooperation on this.
