"My most rewarding experience is the time I get to spend with my lovely Mizuho colleagues at the branch or within Mizuho's global network. It is the many opportunities I have for personal development gained through interaction with colleagues from whom I am always learning something new and with whom I can grow together."

What do you do at Mizuho?

I am in charge of managing five areas at Mizuho's Hanoi Branch, including operations, operations planning, IT, and credit & market risk management.

What has been your proudest moment/most rewarding experience while working at Mizuho?

My most rewarding experience is the time I get to spend with my lovely Mizuho colleagues at the branch or within Mizuho's global network. It is the many opportunities I have for personal development gained through interaction with colleagues from whom I am always learning something new and with whom I can grow together.

What do you do for fun outside work?

Spending time with friends and reading books are great sources for me to bring about positive energy.

What is the first thing you read every day (and why)?

The first thing I read each day is usually some nice phrases or sentences that I have chanced upon through my regular reading, those which give me energy or make me happy for the day. My favorite sentence today is "Everybody is a leader, and firstly the leader of his/her own actions and life"

How is Mizuho different from other places where you have worked?

I have many colleagues who have left Mizuho once (including myself), but then come back (or want to come back). There is an enjoyable work atmosphere here and the core of this is the people you work with.

Tell us about something you have learned from another culture.

Mizuho's employees come from many different countries and cultures, but we all share something in common: we are all connected under a single roof—the world we live in together—through our shared values.
