What do you do at Mizuho?
As a marketing professional at Mizuho Indonesia, I am responsible for maintaining existing customers and acquiring new potential customers by providing optimal financial advice on various banking products, in order to deliver our best service to Japanese corporations in Indonesia.
What has been your proudest moment/most rewarding experience while working at Mizuho?
When I convinced an inactive existing client to use our banking services and they agreed to re–establish their banking relationship with Mizuho Indonesia and increase their transactions with us.
What do you do for fun outside work?
I love to watch new movies with my family and go shopping with my friends.
How would you describe Mizuho's corporate culture and people?

What is the first thing you read every day (and why)?
In order to improve my knowledge and to keep my clients up–to–date with current issues, the first things in the morning I always check are current business developments and foreign market issues, by reading news such as The Daily NNA, Jakarta Post and Bloomberg.
How is Mizuho different from other places where you have worked?
At Mizuho, I enjoy a good work–life balance. Also, people in Mizuho always try to understand different ideas and opinions, which creates a positive work environment for all.
What skill or competency do you feel you have enhanced while at Mizuho?
I have been able to enhance my negotiation skills by learning how to better fulfill customer needs while at the same time also considering all the risks that the bank faces.
What is the most important thing you have learned while at Mizuho or in the industry?
Consistently delivering good service is one of the key points in the banking industry. At Mizuho, I have learned how to provide optimal service support in banking solutions to deliver the best service to our clients.
What is a topic or issue outside of financial services that interests you?
I am really interested in Japanese culture. Japan has a unique history which contributes to its unique culture; a combination of old and new, traditional and modern. Learning the true origins of Japanese culture is very interesting.
